This is a board for conversations that should not vanish into a timeline. It is built with [Fossil](https://fossil-scm.org), so the board, its users, attachments, and history live together in one repository that can be mirrored or synchronized peer-to-peer.
## what it does not do

- no engagement ranking
- no hidden feed algorithm
- no tracking cookies
- no manufactured urgency
## what it is for
Technical notes. Links that deserve a second pair of eyes. Questions with real constraints. Projects in motion. Artifacts that outlast a group chat. People who still want a public place to think in complete sentences.
The board is only one node. The useful network is the collection of people and mirrors that decide it is worth carrying forward.
